A Word from the Author of All the King's Men

A word on All the King's Men by one its esteemed authors, Joseph Clough:

It has been a pleasure working with and I hope introducing to you a group of talented Elvis Tribute Artists. Each and every one of them, have been terrific to work with and I thank them all for allowing me to use them in my book. I would also like to thank my partner Teresa Winston for joining forces with me on “ALL THE KINGS MEN” her paintings of the front and back covers are exceptional and I could not have done this book without her.

It has been very inspiring to me to know that the spirit of Elvis Presley is here to stay. As a former tribute artist I have had the wonderful experience of performing in front of an audience trying to re-create the magic of Elvis. It is a feeling indescribable I can only imagine what Elvis Presley must have felt when he had thousands of screaming girls at his feet it is no wonder he was the “King of Rock and Roll.” He has inspired generations and will continue to inspire generations to come. He lifted us up when we were down and out and gave most of us hope when we needed it most. He gave us so many uplifting, beautiful, and passionate songs to listen too. He gave us movies with Hollywoood’s most beautiful leading ladies. He gave us his commitment to the United States Military during the peak of his career. He gave us Priscilla and Lisa Marie Presley, both absolutely, wonderful, gorgeous, and radiant women cherished by all. He gave us the “1968 Comeback Special” a concert way ahead of its time. He gave us love and respect for our parents. He gave us the “Aloha in Hawaii” concert the first ever televised concert all over the world via satellite. He gave us the “Las Vegas Years” of him performing all those memorable moves in his unbelievable jumpsuits. He gave us Graceland, one of the nations top tourist attractions. He gave us the “Memphis Mafia.” He gave us complete and unrelenting showmanship while on stage and in person. He taught us respect and dignity for our friends and loved ones. He respected and loved the Lord always remembering his upbringing. He was and always will be the most respected artist of his time. He was what legends are made of the American matinee idol that took the world by storm and gave us something to smile about. He gave us Rock and Roll and an era of music that will never be forgotten. He gave us the Elvis Tribute Artists entertainers dedicated to him and preserving his legacy so that he will be long remembered. This book is a dedication to him and the Elvis Tribute Artists!
